The Farmhouse
at Yetholm Mill, Kirk Yetholm Welcome to The Farmhouse at Yetholm Mill which has recently been renovated and refurbished to a high standard. The Farmhouse and immediate outbuildings are now warm and cosy with all the expected modern facilities. The work has been done sympathetically retaining the charm of an old farmhouse with many of the original features such as working window shutters, a Georgian staircase and a stone floor in the kitchen - the oldest part of the house. |

The Farmhouse Cottage can be rented
as a self catering cottage or individual rooms can be taken on a
B & B basis.
Breakfasts are taken in the dining room which doubles as a guest lounge. Guests are welcome to wander around the gardens or woodland, and can sit on the terrace soaking up the sun or with a glass of wine to watch the glorious sunsets. The view from the terrace is spectacular, we look out over the Bowmont river valley, and also down the valley towards Kelso. Bed &

The large luxury bathroom has a
huge double ended bath, just right for soaking away the aches &
pains from a long day walking in the hills. Real decadence can be
achieved by adding a few candles, a glass of wine, some fragrant
bubbles and maybe even sharing it with someone special!

This room has a lovely cosy feel
to it. Decorated in creams with a thistle theme in the soft furnishings.
The old fireplace surround and shutters (which are working) remain
in the room, and a door leads into what was once part of the maid's
quarters and which is now the bathroom. The room looks out over
the garden at the front of the house and the view is of Staerough,
one of the Cheviot Hills.
Farmhouse Cottage — 2 bedroom self catering Once a couple of stables and a workshop, this space has been converted into a warm , comfortable and contemporary space. The "cottage" consists of a kitchen with a full size cooker, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and washing machine.The living room contains the dining table & chairs and a large sofa & armchair. |

There are two bedrooms with
ensuite facilities.
The first is decorated in calming lavender and pine. It has a double bed and leads to a luxury bathroom with a jacuzzi bath and over bath shower. |

The second bedroom can be made up with either
a king size bed or twin beds.
This room also has a shower room. |

Each of the bedrooms and
the living room have a digital television.
There is also a radio and CD player. Cot and high chair available.Welcome shopping packs can be provided - one less thing to think about! BUT.... if you want the space the cottage provides but still don't feel like cooking, we are happy to prepare breakfast for you in the Farmhouse.
