Horseshoe Cottage is our 4-star, centrally-heated,
pet-friendly holiday retreat for two people. It is beautifully situated
on the edge of TownYetholm looking directly onto the rolling hills
and valleys of this lovely area.

Horseshoe Cottage was originally a stable for three horses. The old farmyard, where local horses were once shod, is now the cottage garden where, seated under the roses and clematis, you can enjoy a summer breakfast or an evening barbecue. |

The front door, with its views across the Cheviot
hills, opens directly into a beamed open-plan living room, with
fully-equipped kitchen, dining table and comfortable sofa and armchair.
Leading off this room is a utility room, perfect for drying jackets
and walking boots, and a separate wetroom.

Climb the stairs to what was once the hayloft and is now a charming double bedroom with ensuite bathroom and roll-top bath (in which to soak after those long walks). The king-size Victorian -style bed and pretty windows make this room a delightful and romantic retreat. |

Town Yetholm is one of those rare villages that
has managed to keep its well-stocked, award-winning village shop,
award-winning butcher, post office and even a garage.
