The Wheelhouse Self-Catering

Our newly converted Grain Mill & Granary on the edge of the former 'Gypsy' village of Kirk Yetholm, stands proudly at the foot of the Cheviot Hills looking out over the Bowmont Water. The Granary dates from the 1600's and was originally thatched.

The area is perfect for walking, cycling or fishing. Yetholm has a mini-superstore, butchers shop, post-office and two great pubs to cater for all your requirements during your stay

 

 

The Wheelhouse Self-Catering

The Wheelhouse - positioned in the original Wheelroom - is on the ground floor of the main mill. It sleeps 2 - 4 people and is suitable for the less able. The Wheelhouse has a beautiful spacious feel to it, including a large, luxury bathroom suite, with wet area, walk-in shower and bath. A view to the hills from the Wheelhouse is stunning.

 

Wheelhouse facilities & Rates

£295.00 low season— £325.00 mid season & £350 in high season.
All bed linen, towels, electricity and Central Heating included. Internet access is also available.

 

Mill House Bed & Breakfast

Drawing room with open fire, balcony looking on to the surrounding fields and river.
A private deck and seating area, with undercover Canadian Hot Tub - also with great views.
Lock-ups for bicycles and dry room for walking gear.
The House has a no-smoking policy and has Internet access in every room.

 

Breakfast is served in a Panelled Dining-Room with menus ranging from a full Scottish Grill, to home made drop scones (pancakes) made on our Aga cooker. Children's breakfasts are also catered for.

 

 

 

 

 

Accomodation

Valley View is a lovely room with a King-sized Double bed.
Complete with T.V. , en-suite luxury bathroom and shower.
Tarriff : Double —£ 30.00 per person. Single —£ 45.00.

River View is a large bedroom with Cathedral style ceiling, which offers a great feeling of space. Complete with T.V.
Large windows again enabling you to view the Border scenery.
En-suite luxury bathroom and shower.
